Am going down to Cornwall tomorrow to spend christmas in a caravan with the fam! Thought I would post a christmas drawing I did a couple of days ago before I lose contact with civilisation!
If anybody is in plymouth right now I suggest you go down to the Plymouth City Museum where they are have a santas grotto mainly decorated and designed by Plymouth Illustration students!!
I Mostly did lots of snowflake painting and also had the idea of having 3D structures on the floor lit up by lights. These are some work in progress photos, I have yet to see it fully finished as I was going home for christmas!
So here are some photos of my workstation which has become home since we arent allowed in the studio :( Have actually gotten motivated to do drawing today! Spent an hour this morning drawing jess and then took photos and videos at trampolining to draw tomorrow.
Bottom one is all the stages of me doing a cartwheel from a video! Took a lot longer than i though it would, cartwheels are more complicated than they look!
This is a project from the start of term where we had to re-draw part of a comic book changing the composition and making it our own style!
And a new image to add to my collection of flying things! Though the photoshop work is pretty terrible due to not being on the studio macs with a mouse!
Actually did some more 240 today! Plan is to do lots of figure drawing of people in stretches and poses, but this means finding models which makes it really easy to avoid making time to draw!! Did these using the reed pens we made the other day, i think they look a little Helen Oxenbury like just not as well rendered!
Animation is rendering, time left-32 minutes. Just checking how it looks as I have finished the final scene (yay). All I have left to do is make a model look like she is walking for the first scene-not fun in after effects but I have a week so can hopefully make it work! Here are some screen grabs of the work in progress.
